Information we collect

We only collect information you provide directly: your name, email, phone, and message through the contact form, and your email when you sign up for our newsletter. Bookings are handled by Cal.com, which processes the data you enter there in line with its own privacy policy.

How we use your data

We use your data only to respond to you, confirm your booking, and (if you opted in) send our newsletter. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.

Data processors

We share your data with the following sub-processors, each of whom has signed a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) compliant with the GDPR:

Vercel (hosting and serverless infrastructure) — based in the United States. Transfers are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). DPA: vercel.com/legal/dpa.

Supabase (database, EU region) — data is stored within the EU. DPA: supabase.com/dpa.

Mollie (payment processor) — based in the Netherlands and fully GDPR-compliant.

Cal.com (online appointment scheduling) — based in the United States. Transfers are covered by SCCs. DPA: cal.com/legal.

Resend (transactional email) — based in the United States. Transfers are covered by SCCs. DPA: resend.com/legal/dpa.

Upstash (rate-limiting) — EU region (Frankfurt), GDPR-compliant.

Data retention

Order data (purchases and payments) is retained for 7 years to comply with Dutch tax law.

Contact messages are kept while relevant to your inquiry, up to a maximum of 12 months.

Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data. Email info@majorillegarden.nl to exercise these rights — we respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

Cookies

We only set technical cookies necessary for the website to function. We use privacy-friendly analytics (Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights) without cookies. When you schedule an appointment or check out, cookies are also set by Cal.com and Mollie inside their own embed or checkout — see their respective privacy policies.
